Overview
Shrieve has long term alliances with many large global manufacturers of components and materials that are used in our range of speciality chemicals, oils and fluids. The company produces and stores its end products in locations across Europe and offers services appropriate to the markets and industries it serves.
Through our ISO 9001:2000 quality system, we assure that all products and services meet strict and consistent quality specifications. Continuity and security of raw material and finished product supply is assured.
Our commitment is to provide a rapid and personal response. Customer service is operated from our UK office, delivered by multi-lingual staff. The company operates to a strict set of service targets that allow us and our customers to monitor how well we are performing and keeping our promises.
Shrieve aims to provide a reliable, flexible and proactive logistics service to all our customers, wherever they are based in the world. Services include:
Inventory Management
As part of our service we are willing to manage inventory levels for a customer, initiating re-ordering to maintain specified stock levels.
Bulk Supply
We deliver bulk quantities in: bulk sea vessel, railcar, iso-tank and roadcar.
Packaging
We offer a wide range of options including packaging in IBCs, drums, pails, jerrycans and right down to small cans and packs. A wide range of customised packages and labelling requirements can be handled. We also
offer a total supply management service to selected clients.
Out of Hours Service
Where appropriate we offer an out of hours collection and delivery service.
Custom Blending
We produce and supply products to customer specified recipes and quality standards.
Delivery
We offer both collection options and a full delivery service. We work with customers to design more specific delivery programmes as required, including JIT deliveries.
Distribution
We work with customers to design and develop distribution channels in support of their businesses.
Technical
Shrieve provides a full ongoing technical support to existing products and services. Our team is available to
provide technical information about our products and services. We help solve problems, suggest cost-effective
options and give you essential data to allow you to effectively use our products. Our fully equipped laboratory is capable of running industry standard tests to support our development programme.
In addition, the company undertakes partnership and customised developments with specific clients. These
usually take the form of a jointly defined technical or commercial programme. Using our product and
applicational knowledge, we work with our customers within defined parameters to provide specific solutions.
These programmes are usually operated under strict confidential terms and often result in customised products
or technology for exploitation by our clients.
Health Safety and Environment
Shrieve places an extremely high emphasis on health, safety and environment. We strictly vet all of our
suppliers and service partners to assure their standards meet our requirements.
We continually monitor legislation and work to ensure that our products and systems are fully compliant, and
meet the strictest standards of health and safety, with due care for the environment.
We are currently working to ensure our products are compliant with the new REACH legislation.
For the oilfield business we work with our partners to ensure our products meet all the necessary regulations.
As part of our service, as well as providing essential HSE data and information on our products, we can provide
specific advice on handling and disposal, and environmental standards. Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
are provided for all of our products.
