These synthetic oils have many attractive features including :-
•good thermal and oxidative stability
•high flash points
•low pour points
•high polarity
•good solubilising characteristics
•good colour and optical properties
•low odour
•low or zero chlorine content
•normally classed as non-hazardous
For formulators, they provide good cost effective alternatives to other synthetic product types such as polyalphaolefins (PAO) and esters. The good low temperature properties and superior oxidation and thermal stability compared to mineral oils also continues to drive the creation of alkylate based formulations in niche applications.
We provide a range of components and finished products that can be used in the following applicational areas:
•greases
•dielectric fluids
•heat transfer fluids
•industrial lubricants
•textile processing oils
•metalworking fluids
•plasticisers and extenders for polymer, rubber and silicone production
Our PROGILINE™ range offers a wide variety of products with different viscosities, flash points, colour, water content and other quality specifications for use in these different markets. Please contact us for more details or to discuss your specific needs.
